3. PayPal Payments

Where PayPal is available, you may select PayPal during checkout.

When PayPal is selected, you may be redirected to PayPal's payment environment to complete the transaction.

PayPal may require you to:

  • Sign in to your PayPal account;
  • Select or confirm a payment method;
  • Verify your identity;
  • Confirm the transaction; or
  • Complete additional security verification.

Payment processing is subject to PayPal's own terms, privacy practices and security procedures.

We do not require access to your PayPal password or account login credentials.

Your order will normally enter processing after the PayPal transaction has been successfully authorized or confirmed.

4. Cash on Delivery (COD)

Where Cash on Delivery is available, you may select this option during checkout.

With COD, payment is generally made when your parcel is delivered.

Depending on the destination and delivery provider, payment may be accepted:

  • In cash;
  • By another payment method supported by the courier; or
  • According to other payment procedures specified by the local delivery provider.

The available payment method at delivery depends on the courier and destination.

Cash on Delivery may not be available for every:

  • Country;
  • Region;
  • Postal code;
  • Product;
  • Order value; or
  • Delivery method.

If COD is unavailable for your order, it will normally not appear as an available payment option during checkout.

5. Cash on Delivery Verification

Certain COD orders may require additional verification before processing or dispatch.

Verification may include confirming:

  • Customer name;
  • Telephone number;
  • Delivery address;
  • Order details;
  • Product quantity;
  • Order amount; and
  • Intention to receive and pay for the parcel.

This verification process helps reduce:

  • Incorrect addresses;
  • Fraudulent orders;
  • Duplicate orders;
  • Failed deliveries; and
  • Unclaimed parcels.

If an order cannot reasonably be verified, we may contact the customer before processing or dispatching it.

6. Refusing a Cash on Delivery Parcel

If you no longer wish to receive a COD order, please contact us as soon as possible before the order is dispatched.

Simply refusing a parcel at delivery does not necessarily constitute a valid exercise of a statutory withdrawal right.

Where permitted by applicable law, reasonable shipping, return or handling costs resulting from an unjustified refusal or failure to collect a parcel may be taken into account when processing an applicable voluntary refund.

This does not limit any mandatory statutory consumer rights.

7. Payment Authorization

By submitting an order using an online payment method, you confirm that:

  • You are authorized to use the selected payment method;
  • The information you provide is accurate;
  • You authorize the applicable payment provider to process the transaction; and
  • You agree to pay the total amount shown during checkout.

A transaction may be declined or delayed where:

  • Payment authorization fails;
  • Payment information is incorrect;
  • Fraud prevention checks identify unusual activity;
  • The payment provider declines the transaction; or
  • Additional verification is required.

We are not responsible for a payment provider's decision to approve or decline a transaction.

8. Currency

Product prices and available currencies may depend on the customer's location and the market selected through our online store.

The applicable currency will normally be displayed:

  • On the product page;
  • In the shopping cart; and
  • During checkout.

Please review the displayed currency before completing your order.

If your bank, PayPal account or payment provider uses a different currency, that provider may apply:

  • Currency conversion;
  • Exchange rates; or
  • Foreign transaction charges.

Any such fees imposed independently by your bank or payment provider are outside our control.

9. Prices

The amount payable will normally be the total displayed during checkout before you submit your order.

The total may include, where applicable:

  • Product price;
  • Discounts;
  • Shipping charges;
  • Taxes;
  • VAT; and
  • Other charges disclosed before purchase.

Please review the full order total before submitting your order.

10. Taxes, VAT and Customs Charges

Applicable taxes or VAT may be included in or added to the order total depending on:

  • Customer location;
  • Destination country;
  • Product;
  • Applicable tax rules; and
  • Checkout configuration.

For cross-border orders, customs authorities may separately impose:

  • Import VAT;
  • Customs duties;
  • Clearance charges;
  • Handling charges; or
  • Other government fees.

Unless expressly stated during checkout that such charges are included, customers may be responsible for charges independently imposed by authorities in the destination country.

Please also review our Shipping and Delivery Policy for additional information.

11. Payment Security

We take reasonable steps to provide a secure checkout environment.

Our online store uses Shopify and may use independent payment providers to process transactions.

Security measures may include:

  • Secure checkout technology;
  • Encrypted data transmission where appropriate;
  • Payment-provider authentication;
  • Fraud monitoring;
  • Transaction verification; and
  • Access controls.

Payment information may be processed directly by Shopify, PayPal or another authorized payment service provider.

We may therefore not receive or store complete payment card or payment-account credentials.

No internet-based payment system can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.

12. Fraud Prevention

We may review transactions where reasonably necessary to help prevent:

  • Fraud;
  • Identity theft;
  • Unauthorized transactions;
  • Payment abuse;
  • Duplicate orders; or
  • Other suspicious activity.

We may request additional information to verify an order.

Where we reasonably believe that an order is fraudulent, unauthorized or unlawful, we may:

  • Delay processing;
  • Request additional verification;
  • Reject the order; or
  • Cancel the order.

Where an online payment has already been collected for an order that we cancel, the applicable amount will be refunded according to our policies and applicable law.

13. Payment Confirmation

After an online payment has been successfully completed, you may receive an order confirmation containing information such as:

  • Order number;
  • Products ordered;
  • Total amount;
  • Payment method;
  • Billing information; and
  • Delivery information.

Please review the confirmation carefully.

If you notice an error, please contact us promptly through our Contact Us page.

14. Failed Payments

A payment may fail because of:

  • Incorrect payment information;
  • Insufficient funds;
  • Security restrictions;
  • Payment-provider restrictions;
  • Bank authorization requirements;
  • Technical issues; or
  • Fraud-prevention checks.

If your payment fails, you may be asked to try again or select another available payment method.

Do not repeatedly submit payments if you are unsure whether a previous payment was successful.

Please check your payment account and order confirmation first.

15. Duplicate Payments

If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same order, please contact us through our Contact Us page.

Please provide:

  • Your name;
  • Order number;
  • Date of payment;
  • Payment method;
  • Amount charged; and
  • Other relevant transaction information.

For security reasons, do not send your password, complete payment card number, CVV/CVC code or other sensitive account credentials.

We will review the transaction and, where a duplicate payment is confirmed, arrange an appropriate refund.

16. Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

If the order has not yet entered processing or dispatch, we may be able to cancel it.

Once an order has entered fulfilment or has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible through the normal order-processing system.

This does not affect any applicable statutory right of withdrawal.

Where an eligible prepaid order is successfully cancelled, any applicable refund will be handled in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy.

17. Refunds

Approved refunds will normally be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless another method is agreed or required by law.

Refund processing time may depend on:

  • Payment method;
  • Payment provider;
  • Bank;
  • Type of return;
  • Date the goods are received;
  • Proof of return; and
  • Applicable statutory requirements.

Once we issue a refund, your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time before the funds appear in your account.

For complete refund conditions, please review our Return and Refund Policy.

18. PayPal Refunds

Where an order was originally paid using PayPal, an approved refund will normally be sent back through PayPal to the original payment source where possible.

The time required for the refund to appear may depend on PayPal and the funding method connected to the original transaction.

We do not control processing times imposed by PayPal, banks or card issuers after the refund has been submitted.

19. Cash on Delivery Refunds

Because COD orders are paid at or around the time of delivery, refunds for eligible COD orders may require a different refund procedure from online payments.

Where a refund is approved, we may ask the customer to provide information reasonably necessary to arrange reimbursement.

We will communicate the available refund method before completing the refund.

Customers should never send passwords or complete payment-card security information when requesting a refund.

20. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe there is an issue with a transaction, please contact us first so that we can attempt to investigate and resolve the matter.

Where a payment dispute or chargeback is opened through PayPal, a bank or another payment provider, we may provide relevant transaction information to that provider, including where appropriate:

  • Order information;
  • Payment confirmation;
  • Shipping information;
  • Tracking information;
  • Delivery confirmation;
  • Customer communications; and
  • Return or refund information.

Such information will only be used or disclosed where reasonably necessary to review the payment dispute or comply with applicable requirements.

21. Payment Provider Terms

Independent payment providers may apply their own:

  • Terms of service;
  • Privacy policies;
  • Security requirements;
  • Transaction limits;
  • Verification procedures; and
  • Dispute procedures.

Your use of a third-party payment provider may therefore also be governed by that provider's own terms.

22. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate billing information;
  • Providing accurate delivery information;
  • Using an authorized payment method;
  • Reviewing the order total before purchase;
  • Keeping payment accounts secure;
  • Protecting passwords and account credentials; and
  • Contacting us promptly if suspicious payment activity is identified.

We will never ask you to send your PayPal password through our Contact Us form.

23. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Payment Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable Danish, European Union or European Economic Area law.

If any provision of this Payment Policy conflicts with mandatory consumer protection law, the mandatory law will prevail.

24. Changes to This Payment Policy

We may update this Payment Policy from time to time to reflect:

  • Changes to available payment methods;
  • Changes to payment providers;
  • Changes to Shopify services;
  • Changes to COD availability;
  • Changes to security procedures;
  • Changes to applicable laws; or
  • Other legitimate operational requirements.

The latest version will be published through our online store with an updated revision date.
